I'm not a big fan of The Oscars or The Academy Awards.  I don't follow them and I'm not sorry about it.  It's the same with the Emmys, the VMAs, People Choice Awards... etc.  I never got into the hype of it all.  I don't believe that the awards should be used to re-market something with expectations of that thing... person, movie, song, etc. will do better.  But I am not against the awards existing... I have no issues with them being around.  I suppose having them around invariably leads to to all the hype and stuff or at least it helps.  I think it is a good thing that actors/singers/directors/writers/etc. are recognized by their peers... and I know it's based on a lot of politics and all that and every now and again you'll get a surprise... but I am pretty sure if I, like I one day aspire ...

     I was looking at a previous blog I had written and I had been shocked to not have a job by August 30th... well, it's now November 13th and guess what?  Still no job!  Not even a nibble!  I had an interview at Best Buy at the end of last month but that was after applying twice and I've gotten little else since then... job wise anyway.  Makes me wonder if something is wrong with me... I know people tell you to stay positive and all that but it's difficult when you see your life fading away.  It actually gets aggravating when people tell you to keep positive...

I'm not really sure why, but I sure do like this time of year.  I think it's that there's a holiday every month so something to look forward too... at least if I make it that far.  I'm not planning on going anywhere but this no job thing is gonna have to stop because I'm tired of it.  I guess I'm just afraid of not finding anything... it's getting to me as I'm sure it's getting to lots of folks... it's left me wondering if all the good days are done.  If so, I think I may have gotten shafted.  Granted, life hasn't been terrible for myself but the fact that I'm a 25 year old unemployed virgin has some negative effects on my psyche.  Anyhow, I don't want to spend all my time writing a sob story... everyone's got one and somehow it's always worse than yours.      So everything's been pretty bad of late... I was hoping I may have found a job by now... unfortunately that hasn't been the case so far.  I suppose I shouldn't let it get to me as much as I have what with the current state of the economy... but sadly it does... get to me I mean.  I'm an unemployed college graduate who can't get a job... well, I haven't tried to get one of them hourly unpredictable jobs yet but given my previous status as a student and the fact that I couldn't get a job then I'm not feeling great about the idea.  Do you know how annoying it is filling out those long apps and doing those redundant test is?  Especially for nothing?  Then there's the whole girl situation... Straight from my website... this is my very first blog!  Currently I'm in Florida... escaping the heat of California... for the heat of Florida... anyway, I don't have a whole lot to say because... um...
